Dark Energy is presently the most attractive explanation for the
accelerated expansion of the Universe; however, our current knowledge of
the properties
of Dark Energy is minimal. For this reason much effort and money is
being invested into the quest for Dark Energy and its properties, and
within the next
decade we expect to know the answer to at least two important questions:
Is Dark Energy dynamic or a Cosmological Constant? Is Dark Energy cold, in
the sense that there can be Dark Energy clustering?
In the talk I will review the present status of Dark Energy and talk
about some of the efforts that are made to discover more. As a specific
example, I will talk about using future cluster surveys such as the ESA mission
Euclid to answer the two questions above.
