PAULA EEROLA APPOINTED DEAN OF THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI

The Director of HIP Paula Eerola has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Helsinki by the Board of the University in its meeting today. Paula will start in her new position on 1 January 2018.

A postdoc position in relativistic heavy ion physics at Niels Bohr Institute. The position is for 2 years starting from 1 January 2018. One of the proposed work topics is development of the Fast Interaction Trigger (FIT) for the ALICE upgrade.
