HIP is seeking A DIRECTOR for a fixed term of 5 years starting on 1 January 2018.
The current director Paula Eerola has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Helsinki.

A postdoc position in relativistic heavy ion physics at Niels Bohr Institute. The position is for 2 years starting from 1 January 2018. One of the proposed work topics is development of the Fast Interaction Trigger (FIT) for the ALICE upgrade.

A Research Associate in the Particle Physics Group of the School of Physics, University of Bristol. The position is funded by the European Commission for a project to characterize conditioned nuclear waste. The post is funded for 2.5 years and is available from 1st of January 2018.

ESIPAP: THE EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF INSTRUMENTATION IN PARTICLE & ASTROPARTICLE PHYSICS 2018

The 2018 European School of Instrumentation In Particle & Astroparticle Physics (ESIPAP) is an ideal place for master or PhD students to learn and train in high-level instrumentation.
ESIPAP is organized in the form of two independent & complementary modules of 4 weeks each and the lectures are taught by some of the most renowned specialists. Hosted by ESI in Archamps, France close to Geneva, ESIPAP benefits from the proximity and the involvement of CERN where laboratory sessions take place.
