Gruber Cosmology Prize to the Planck Team

The Planck Team, including people in the HIP Planck-EUCLID project, has been awarded the 2018 Gruber Cosmology Prize for the results of the ESA Planck satellite. Congratulations!

Researchers’ Night Friday 28 September 2018

The European Researchers’ Night is held at the same time in around 300 cities across Europe on the last Friday of September (28 Sep 2018). There are also 11 different locations in Finland.
HIP organizes a workshop Invisible becomes visible at the Helsinki Observatory at 17.00 – 20.00.

Timo Kärkkäinen, FM will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled “Neutrino masses and oscillations – in theories beyond the Standard Model” (Neutriinojen massat ja oskillaatiot standardimallin laajennuksissa) in the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki, on 19 October 2018 at 12:15. UNIVERSITY LECTURER IN THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS.
