DOCTORAL DEFENCE
Timo Kärkkäinen, FM will defend the doctoral dissertation entitled “Neutrino masses and oscillations – in theories beyond the Standard Model” (Neutriinojen massat ja oskillaatiot standardimallin laajennuksissa) in the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki, on 19 October 2018 at 12:15. The public examination will take place at the following address: Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2, Physicum E204. During the training we will discuss cultural diversity and intercultural communication in general as well as share tips on how to increase your cultural awareness. We also hope to hear from your experiences on the University of Helsinki as an international working environment and discuss ways to make it an even better international community. The training will feature both information sharing and discussion. The audience is encouraged to be active and share from their own experience. The information session is primarily intended for doctoral candidates at the University of Helsinki who will be defending their dissertations in a public examination in the near future, ideally before you submit your doctoral dissertation for pre-examination. The public examination will be discussed from various angles. The session will be held in English.
