Collinear laser spectroscopy combined with sensitive single-particle detection will allow us to work with rates down to a few ions/s. While the prototype of the first collinear beamline is already under commissioning at the TRIGA research reactor at Mainz University, further technological developments are also ongoing at several other facilities driven by members of the collaboration.
