Marie Curie Linking Industry to CERN
Project in brief
MeChanICs (Marie Curie Linking Industry to CERN) is an Industry to Academia Partnership and Pathways (IAPP) platform for precision manufacturing knowledge exchange bringing together five Finnish manufacturing companies with Helsinki Insitute of Physics (HIP) and CERN.
Two-way intersectoral secondments between industry and academia are used for the knowledge transfer. Scientific and technical objectives of MeChanICs are to contribute in early stage of the technical design phase to CLIC (Compact LInear Collider), multi-TeV electron-positron collider study for future needs.
